Project Description
In 2018 LMDH obtained the Decree of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the recognition and protection of the forestry partnership (KulinKK) between the Puncak Lestari Forest Village Community Institution (LMDH) and the Bogor Forestry Units (KPH) (No. PSKL / PKPS / PSL.0 / 2018) with an area of 610.64 Ha. This location is an integral part of the landscape with the Telaga Warna Nature Reserve (CA) conservation area which is the headwaters of the Ciliwung River.
The Forest of Tugu Utara Village (HPD) is managed by the Puncak Lestari Forest Village Community Institution, assisted by GAIA and CFES
